Northern Foods Corporation (commonly abbreviated as NFC) was a prominent government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC) in the Philippines primarily known as the country's pioneer in industrial-scale tomato paste production. Established on March 16, 1984, under the National Livelihood Development Corporation (NLDC) and supervised by the Department of Agriculture, the state enterprise was strategically anchored in the Ilocos Region to provide sustainable, long-term agro-industrial livelihoods for thousands of Ilocano contract farmers.
