ENEX Energy Corp. (ENEX), formerly PHINMA Petroleum and Geothermal, Inc., was organized on September 28, 1994 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACEN Corporation (ACEN). The Company was also previously known as ACE Enexor, Inc. before the SEC approved its change of corporate name to ENEX Energy Corp. on November 9, 2022.
In 2019, AC Energy and Infrastructure Corporation, formerly AC Energy, Inc., acquired the 51.48% combined stake of PHINMA, Inc. and PHINMA Corporation in ACEN. Meanwhile, ACEN purchased the combined 25.18% stake of PHINMA, Inc. and PHINMA Corp. in ENEX.
ENEX's primary business is the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas through interests in petroleum contracts and through holdings in resource development companies with interests in petroleum contracts. The Company began its foray into the exploration and development of geothermal resources in 2017.
ENEX has 7.78% interest in SC 6 Block A in Northwest Palawan and 75% interest in SC 55 in offshore West Palawan through its subsidiary, Palawan55 Exploration & Production Corporation.
