Solar Philippines Module Manufacturing Corporation (SPMMC) manufactures photovoltaic solar modules from its precursor materials: silicon cells, metal interconnects, polymer sheets, glass and aluminum frames. It imports raw materials from top tier global suppliers while also domestically sourcing qualified and locally available materials such as glass and aluminum frames. The solar modules produced is sold to Solar Philippines project companies (solar farms, rooftop projects), offsetting the need to import modules and retaining value within the country. In the near to mid-term, the whole module output of SPMMC shall be sold to Solar Philippines until its whole demand has been met. SPMMC shall move into exporting modules when local demand is met.
